Depositing Checks Question??

A check is made out to my 20 year old sister from a third party.. Is it possible for her to endorse the check and then for me, her brother, to endorse it beneath hers and deposit it into my Bank of America savings account with no questions asked? She also has a Bank of America account just fyi

  1. you will have no problem!!!!


  2. Yes you can do that but you then run the risk that if the check is returned it will be taken out of your account.  Also they will not cash it out unless you already have enough to take out if it were to return.

  3. Most banks will take third party checks. Some require both the payee( person the check is made out to) and the second person signing the check, to be in person with an ID. If both accounts are in good standing you should not have a problem depositing the check.
