Can I deposit a cheque at a Westpac ATM?

And if so, how do I do it?

I've searched the internet but nowhere shows actual instructions on how to deposit at an ATM and I've never done it before...

  1. Most Westpac ATM's you CAN deposit cheques. I do it all the time because I work business hours and can't get into a branch.

You just need to put your card in, enter your pin number, it will come up with the options such as withdraw, deposit etc, choose the deposit option. It will then ask you whether you are depositing cheques or cash. Then ask you to enter the amount of the cheque/cash you are depositing. It will then post out an envelope for you to put the cash/cheques in, then just put the envelope back in where it came out of.

I have deposited dozens of cheques and cash and never had any problems :)
