I am 18 and my mom left for a month, and so I am stuck with my dad and I do work, but I don't have the ability to use the money till my mom gets back. but my dad will not give me gas money, and its not like I run around, its just I drive to work and back, but this week I have to drive really far to a doctors appointment, and he won't pay the gas cause he said its my appointment why would he have to pay....

I have all of my mom's pay checks cause she got laid off. and I want to deposit one, and then write a check to her for all of it but like 100 to get me thru the week. can I do this with out some one yelling at me?

  1. Be careful doing that. If you go to the same gas station a lot see if they can help you out and give them your DL number to prove that you will pay it, just tell them your situation, some will understand. If not, apply for a line of credit through your bank, then if your account gets overdrawn have it deduct from the line of credit. If you don't understand send me an e-mail and I can explain further.

  2. You can't do it at all without your Mom endorsing the check over to you. If you try to do it with out your Mom endorsing it over to you, most likely the bank will notify the police of possible check theft.
