  1. Hey,

That's okay! Don't make yourself depressed over this, it's REALLY their loss! If they thought you were so talented then they probably wanted you as background for a different reason. It's too bad you quit, be prepared for next time! And keep a smile on your face!:):)

I'm very sorry for you, good luck with the situation! <33

  2. It easier for a guy to get a part. There are fewer guys auditioning and more parts for them. The odds are against us. Feel better?

  3. probably you didn't get it because you got mad and not because of lack of talent. this hapens  a lot. Go on and put it behind .you will have better opportunities.YES YOU WILL!!

  4. Been there ,done that ,and bought the t-shirt! It happens to all of us. Probably more often than it should. No, it's not fair, and no, you don't have to like it. Have a good cry, gripe about it to some good friends who can relate, then get yourself better prepared for the next audition.

Just remember that sometimes it doesn't matter if you're the best person out there, you still may not get the part. Yeah, you may have the talent, but sometimes auditions are (sadly) more about who you know than how talented you are. It's the nature of the beast and you just have to learn how to play the game.

Sometimes,it's not even personal! Heck, I've been told that I was the better person for the part, but I didn't look "right" standing next to the leading man because I'm short! So,it may have been a thing where the director had a certain look in mind and you didn't fit.

Bit of advice though? Next time stick it out even though you hate chorus. It will make them see you as a person who can be counted on.Sometimes that gets you further...remember just play the game ;)
