Question:

Depression, please help?

Well I'm always down and I don't know why even if nothing bad is going on I feel so depressed. I need advice on how to help this. I don't have a money for a doctor so I can't go to one. I feel like I always need someone by me to cheer me up otherwise I start feeling so sad for no real reason :(....help is there anything I can do other then going to a doctor??

  1. First call your local Mental Health Mental Retardation Agency in the city you live in and see if they offer counseling, for free.  Check colleges in the area as well.

    Also look in your yellow pages under churches, some of them offer counseling services.

    Another possiblity is to call a psychiatrist and see if he see indigent care patients.


  2. it could be your diet, try eating less sugary foods, junk foods, fatty foods and all bunch of c**p thar can make you fat or give you a crash after a sugar rush. Then do some more exercise and go outside more often, like walks in the park or just hanging out with friends. Don't think about things that might make you even sadder, just be optimistic, that's exactly what you need, and whenever you feel the urge to frown just smile. :)

  4. I have actually found taking a long walk alone sometimes help. You may want to take a deeper look as to what is actually making you sad, and see how much actual control you actually have about what's making you feel sad.  Sometimes it is something petty making you sad, and once you realize that, you can move forward.
