Alright, back to the adderall topic again. Does anyone know if adderall can cause depression? Or i guess just overall mood alterations from your normal bad moods or down days.

  1. "Drugs only suppress symptoms, and they cause disease because they are toxic." In More Natural Cures Revealed, Kevin Trudeau says "The facts are clear, drugs, both prescription and non-prescription, do not make you healthier, they make you sicker. Drug companies are not interested in your health. Drug companies only want you to buy and use more drugs. If you want to cure yourself of any disease you have and remain healthy, you must eliminate all non-prescription and prescription drugs."

  2. personally i think that medication like adderal causes a dependence that you should NEVER have.

  3. For people with ADD or ADHD Adderall is a downer.  Thus making you depressed, if the dose isn't right.  You may need a lower dose.  People who are not ADD or ADHD get a high from it...go figure.  Hope this helps.

  4. Adderall is a Central Nervous System stimulant, and, although depression is not listed as a side effect: the manufacturers are only obligated to list REPORTED side effects. Request your doctor to report this, if you have had no previous history of depression. Check next time whether this has been done.

Those people who abuse a CNS to get high, pay later with a corresponding low, so if your dosage was too high in the first place, that may explain things. Some people need as much as 30 times the dose of someone else, to be effective.

Standard dosage is set somewhere between, usually at the lower end, but even this can be too much for those who are unusually sensitive to it.

Take 4 Omega 3 fish oil supplements, daily: (certified free of mercury) it is best if consumed with an antioxidant, such as an orange, or grapefruit, or their FRESHLY SQUEEZED juice. If vitamin E is added, it should be certified as being 100% from natural sources, or it may be synthetic: avoid it.

Depression is addressed in section 2: see page R first.

*Strattera.   Check this* out at http://www.drugs.com/ & http://www.rxlist.com/  It is the only one which is in the antidepressant family;  has a low potential for abuse, and presumably, is less likely to lead to drug abuse later in life. However, it is still known to reduce the growth rate of children. See the warning on it at http://3stepsadd.com/
