I've been depressed the whole day today. I can't stop crying.. My partner and I aren't in good terms right now and I've been crying for almost three hours already. Can this affect the baby? I'm 25 weeks pregnant and right now the baby just can't stop moving.. I'm afraid this might affect him somehow.. I'm so worried about him everytime I cry.

  1. Well yes and no...

Yes it can hurt baby because your stress level is rising and your becoming tense.

No because he is well protected in your belly and physically no harm will come.

Although as i said research does show that stress during pregnancy can cause fetal harm.... i feel that minor outbreaks or breakdowns will not have the same effect.

I see you and your partner are not on good terms at the moment and that is a tough thing to go through especially at this happy time in both your lives. I'm glad to see that your worried about your child as you should put him first. This might help to comfort you (you have the best part of your man growing inside you) and with that said he's a lil man soooo you have the power to make him the better man! Cheer up miss whatever struggles you have going on right now can get better if not take each day as a blessing and think of the joy that's coming. Also if it gets severe consider talking to your doctor they would have a better idea for course of action'

    Good luck!

  2. Aww I hope you get to feeling better. Go look at some of your baby's stuff..maybe that will cheer you up. It is okay to cry, but too much stress can add up. Try to relax a little. I'm sure baby will be fine.
