Derby Tests?

Question

Me and my friend are making a derby, should we test it on the steepest hill first? also, would it be o.k to mount paintball guns on the side too? Or will we get arrested.

Dont test it on the steepest first, just in case something goes wrong or it falls apart, because the fall or crash would hurt a lot more.

And i dont think the paintball guns are a good idea...
