Derbyshire in control against Kent, but match headed towards draw
Derbyshire were in complete control of a County Championship Division Two match against Kent, at the St http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013.
The visitors ended the third day of play with 85 runs on the board at the expense of just one wicket on Thursday, May 26, 2011.
The overall lead of Derbyshire in the match is 193 runs and they still have nine wickets remaining in their second innings.

Madsen top scored the innings with 140 runs whereas Khawaja was able to score 135 runs in his brilliant knock. The visitors amassed 460 runs in their first outing and put the hosts under immense pressure.
There was no bowler in the Kent innings to trouble the visitors apart from Ashley Shaw, who grabbed a five wicket haul.
Kent needed a solid effort in their first innings, but the team only managed 352 runs, giving a 108-run lead to the opposition. The start to the innings was dismal for the hosts, as they lost both openers, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Robert-Key-c2349, early.

The only wicket to fall in the Derbyshire innings was taken by Shaw, who did a terrific job in the first innings as well.
