On Wednesday, May 16, fans witnessed a superb day of cricket as both sides went at each other with zeal and confidence, giving fans in the stands plenty to cheer for.
The day began with Glamorgan winning the toss and choosing to bat first in a bid to amass a massive tally in their first innings to put pressure on the hosts right from the first day of play.
However, Derbyshire were not going to let them get manhandled by a visiting team as they made early inroads by dismissing opener, NA James, on seven runs at a time when his side was standing on 29 runs.
Next to go was number-three batsman, WD Bragg, who could bolster only four runs before losing his wicket with his team standing on 33 runs.

However, the two batsmen had done the damage as the side ended their innings with a modest total of 236 runs.
