Derbyshire v Yorkshire: Friends Life T20 - Match Recap
Yorkshire marked their win against Derbyshire in the Friends Life T20 fixture at the County Ground, Derby, on Friday, July 15, 2011. After an impressive batting display by the Yorkshire top order, the team earned a massive 8-wicket win over Derbyshire.
The day/night game took off after Derbyshire won the toss and chose to bat. The team opened its batting session with top order pair, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Martin-James-Guptill-c74885. In response, the Yorkshire bowling attack came out with Iain Wardlaw and English pacer, Tim
Bresnan.
In the opening minutes of the fixture, Derbyshire faced its first loss in the form of Durston’s wicket. The player was declared out on a Leg before Wicket appeal by Bresnan. Durston’s aggressive start to the innings came to a http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Close-c51347 with just 10 runs in hand.
