im just wondering how the h**l does cooper turn pro and he is very bad at boxing like i think i could beat him im only 14 but with good fast hands and i also take punches like margarito

OK this is Floyd Mayweather Jr....He can make Arturo Gatti look somewhat like a fool...Just because Jerry Cooper never had his name in bright lights, and lost badly to Floyd Mayweather Jr., doesn't make him a terrible boxer...I have no doubt in my mind that Jerry Cooper would destroy you kid, even now.

You are 14.  I suggest you stay in school and learn how to write and spell correctly.  That way if you don't turn out to be a good boxer, you can at least get a job, while other uneducated people write  "dere boxer be called $M.C.rockin Ny$ who sucks and got beated up.  I is 7 and I could beat him because I is a good fiter!"

I looked it up on boxrec, and I found that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. fought a guy named Jerry Cooper in his third pro fight.  He won by 1st round TKO.  I'm assuming that is who you're talking about.  As far as how he turned pro- anyone can do it as long as you pass the required tests and you are able to obtain your pro license.  Remember that its easy to say that you could beat this guy or that guy, but when you actually step in that ring, its a whole different ball game.
