Dereck Chisora: I promise to nail Vitali Klitschko and will end his heavyweight reign – Boxing news
Dereck Chisora, the current number one opponent who will take on Vitali Klitschko for the World heavyweight championship title, is confident and optimistic of the fact that he can nail the Ukrainian.
He has promised to put an end to the emphatic reign of Vitali, the Dr. Ironfist.
In a recent verbal outburst Dereck, nicknamed as the Del Boy, showed utmost trust in his ability and told the world that he has the guts to beat Vitali in a one-on-one bout. Chisora was of the view that the current heavyweight champion is a man just like
him made of flesh and blood and therefore he also possesses the related deficiencies.
Chisora revealed that he is hated by the Vitali camp because of his young age, agility, athleticism and swift moves. Del Boy informed that Vitali is getting old and this facet will give him a clear upper hand over the Ukrainian.
The British proud said, “The way I’m going to fight he won’t be able to keep up with the pace I’m going to set. It will be at a hundred miles an hour and his old legs won’t be able to keep up. I’m not scared of him, he’s human, he bleeds and so do I. I’m
looking forward to this now, it’s so close.”
Vitali and Dereck are scheduled to enter the ring for a 12-round bout at Olympiahalle arena situated in Munich, Germany. Vitali has been ruling the heavyweight division since 2008 and has retained his gold successfully against eight prolific pugilists. In
his illustrious career he has lost just two brawls one against the legendary Lennox Lewis and the other one by the impressive punching of Chris Byrd.
Vitali has won 43 of his 45 clashes and possesses a fist that annihilates the opponent heavily so much so that he has collected 40 of his total wins by knock out. Chisora, on the contrary, is 28; has an experience of only 17 bouts. He has won 10 of the total
15 bouts by knock out.
Dereck has even been supported by Lennox and it is this reason why the young man has worked out so hard for this encounter.
Dereck claimed, “It’s the end for Vitali, I promise you. I will end the Klitschko reign and cause a massive upset in my magic round eight that will be felt around the world.”
Both men will clash on February, 18, 2012 in Saturday night’s main event bout in Germany and Dereck will try to put everything on the line to prove the world that he can achieve what none were able to.
