WBC heavyweight contender Dereck Chisora has been cleared to fight Wladimir Klitschko after being found guilty of assaulting his girlfriend.

Chisora was present at Isleworth crown court yesterday where he was spared jail after being found guilty of the offence. As a result Chisora was given a 12-week prison sentence that has been suspended for two years, and he was also put under 18 months of probation supervision with 150 hours' community service. As well as that he must also pay £500 costs and £1,500 compensation to his victim and attend a domestic violence rehab course.
