Dereck Chisora does not want Haye to make any excuses – Boxing News
By now, the whole boxing fraternity is pretty much informed of David Chisora’s excuse making habits. Therefore, his upcoming opponent Dereck Chisora said that if Haye will make any excuses against him, he would give Haye a rematch. The fight between both
the pugilists will be held at the Upton Park, and the fight is being sanctioned by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation.
This will be David Haye’s first ever fight after his loss to Wladimir Klitschko in July 2011. Haye lost to Klitschko but he did not accept his defeat. Instead, Haye claimed his injured toe impeded him from putting up an impressive performance. This excuse
of Haye was not appreciated by the boxing fraternity, and many thought of him as a person who cannot accept his defeat and appreciate his opponent.
In his recent interview, Dereck Chisora spoke about Haye’s ‘excuses’ saying, “I'll tell you this now. If he comes out with an excuse when I'm in the ring there's going to be another fight. I'm just telling you this now! If Haye comes out with an excuse,
saying any excuse, I will run over there and I will physically fight him - I will choke him to death this b*****d! I don't like him.”
Dereck Chisora and David Haye both do not hold British boxing license. Dereck Chisora was recently suspended by the BBBC for being involved in a public brawl with Haye along with misbehaving with Vitali Klitschko on two occasions.
Chisora had slapped Vitali Klitschko in the pre-fight face-off conference and then he spat water in the face of Wladimir Klitschko minutes before Chisora went head to head against Vitali. Even though Chisora apologized to the board and to his fans but he
still got penalized. His license was cancelled for an indefinite period and he was recommended to take anger management classes.
For now, the BBBC has not authorized the fight between Haye and Chisora. In fact, the BBBC has warned officials for not participating in the match, including promoters and others. According to the BBBC, anyone who is part of the event will get penalized.
