Although a slow start to the season, Jeter started hitting the ball in May is batting over .300. In April, he was hitting about .250. Pick him up or someone else will. Keep the guys that are healthy and drop the ones that dont help you.

Yes. I drop Tulo and give yourself the two healthy shortstops now. I'm going on the assumption that you have the roster room and Tulo is not taking up a DL spot.

There is something to be said for consistency, and that's been Jeter. He's also started to hit again in his last 4 games and faces a pitcher today that he hits well. In these games, he's hitting .438 (7 for his last 16) with a homerun. I feel he's started to turn the corner and that you'd be getting him at the right time. Jeter is a career .316 hitter. His average isn't going to be .283 all season. Expect that number to come up to the .300 area by seasons end, which means he'll have to hit well above that the remainder of the season in order to get it there.
