Bosh’s 4th consecutive double-double
Chris Bosh recorded his fourth double-double in a row. The 26-year-old power forward contributed 17 points and grabbed 10 boards, finishing on a 5 for 8 shooting.
Villanueva- Detroit Pistons
Charlie Villanueva gave the Detroit Pistons the spark they needed. The player held the faltering Pistons up when he notched 11 out of 14 points in the final stanza. He pinned three 3-pointers in the frame and finished on a 4 for 10 shooting from the field.
Ibaka- Charlotte Bobcats
Serge Ibaka surged over the Charlotte Bobcats in the win. The player chipped 12 points, nine of them in the first half and finished on a 5 for 8 shooting in 33 plus minutes.
Parker’s game winning performance
Tony Parker played tremendously as the San Antonio Spurs, NBA leaders of the season, scored 33 points notching 4 of 5 free throws in the win over the Mavericks. The point guard finished on a 14 for 22 shooting and scooped out 16 points in the first half
of the game.
Lowry’s fueling game
Kyle Lowry stomped the Boston Celtics defence with a brilliant display of offence. He launched a 20 points assault and kept the Houston Rockets motivated against the tough on-defence Celtics. The player had three 3-pointers in the very first quarter and
played most of the night, recording 41 minutes of playtime.
Salmons powerful 25
John Salmons finished the game with 25 points on an 11 for 16 shooting from the field giving his season’s best shooting performance. The player has been playing consistently, with a 60 per cent shooting in previously played two games. Andrew Bogut who had
16 points in the game later appreciated his teammate’s effort and said, "Carlos had a great night for us, eight 3s is big in any game. John Salmons was big for us."
Gortat’s shiny 20
Marcin Gortat had the most remarkable game for the Phoenix Suns. The player poured in 2-of-4 shooting after finding pace in the game, made a block and also grabbed a rebound after making a steal. All this happened in just three minutes of play. The player
was depleted of his fourth straight game in which he scored a 20. Unfortunately he was just one rebound shy of a double-double but played very well overall.
Gasol- Los Angeles Lakers
Pau Gasol notched his 20th straight double figure score as the player scored 25 points and finished on a 12 for 17 shooting from the field.
