Derrick Rose, LeBron James and other NBA top performances from March 18 (Part 1)
Here is a review of some of the most remarkable performances from the games that took place on Friday, March 18 in NBA.
Hansbrough- Indiana Pacers
Tyler Hansbrough’s 29 points and 12 rebounds set the game on fire; he gave the Chicago Bulls a very tough competition chasing the Pacers. The player also took two steals and went 12 for 18 from the field, amassing 5 of 5 free throws in the massive win.
Rose- Chicago Bulls
Derrick Rose notched 42 points via 11 for 27 shooting from the field. However, the efforts of the 22-year-old could not save the Bulls from a fateful loss against the Pacers who finished with a 115-108 victory.
Deng’s 21 points in Bulls loss
Luol Deng scored 21 points, as he tended 10 rebounds also hitting 2 of 7 three-pointers in the Chicago’s loss.
Starters- Orlando Magic
Orlando’s starters were fearless and awesome: each one of them scored in double figures trampling the Denver Nuggets to a loss. Dwight Howard led his team with 16 points and 18 rebounds and took four steals off the Nuggets hands. Hedo Turkoglu added 15, whereas Brandon Bass, Jason Richardson and Jameer Nelson contributed 13 points each in the buzzer-beater win.
D. Rozan- Toronto Raptors
DeMar DeRozan had his 3rd 30-point game in the same month. The 21-year-old finished on an 11 for 15 shooting from the field and hit from the foul line 8 of 9 times. The Raptors coach was full of praise for the small forward saying, "It was the quietest 30 I have seen in a long time. He didn't panic and again, you take 15 shots and you score 30 points, you are doing alright."
James’ MVP Performance
It was indeed a big night for LeBron James as the Heat’s small forward set the court on fire with his shooting. The player went 16 for 21, just imagine what his score could have been had he not missed those five shots? The 26-year-old notched 5 of 7 three-pointers giving the Atlanta Hawks a very tough time defending. When asked about his jump, the player said, "My jump shot felt great. When my jump shot is on, there's really nothing you can do about it defensively."
