Derrick Rose invests in Giordano’s Pizza; a well known Chicago based pizza franchise
Ever since he was injured in the first round of playoffs last season, All-Star point guard Derrick Rose  has had quite a bit of time for himself and recently he made a business deal venturing in the Chicago based Giordano's pizza
franchise – Giordano’s Pizza.
The franchise is mainly based in Illinois and has a total of 43 restaurants with only three being outside the State. The company has experienced a rapid growth over the last few years, and association of Rose, who is also a big
fan of Giordano, will only help them expand further. The exact details of the agreement are still not known, but the franchise will not be allowed to use the official Bulls logo.
Rajon Rondo; an intern at GQ during NYC fashion week – Oh Really!!
The game of basketball has grown very rapidly in the past few years and one of the main reasons has been huge world-wide following of NBA. Apart from being good on the basketball court, establishing your brand has become a key
part of an NBA player’s life these days.
In recent times, we have seen the likes of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James not only establish themselves as icons of the basketball world but develop their brand all over the world. Their off seasons include trips to various countries,
endorsement deals and so on. Other players have also taken a lead and among other things, being a fashion icon has become a major part of the game.
However, there are always two sides to a coin and while we have seen the stylish class of some players like Dwyane Wade, we have also been witnesses to the likes of Russell Westbrook who have pulled off the unusual tee shirts and
nerd glasses.
One of the recent fashion disasters has been of Rajon Rondo – the slick Boston Celtics point guard who has reportedly been interning at GQ during the NYC fashion week. If anyone in the NBA needs fashion advice then that would be
Rondo. And let’s just hope he picks up a thing or two at GQ.
