Derek Anderson has far more potential for a big season. You may consider him a one year wonder but the Browns front office doesn't as they gave him a healthy contract extension. David Garrard on the other hand is a game manager. He doesn't throw picks partly because of his smart decisions but mainly because he isn't asked to "BE" the offense for the Jags. They are a run first team and near the goaline Jones-Drew is gonna be seeing the rock, not some WR or TE. Derek Anderson will throw way more INTs but it's because he's throwing the ball ALOT more then Garrard will be. Remember though, in most leagues you need to throw about 2-3 INTs to negate a TD pass. In that regard, Derek Anderson should have more fantasy value (not to mention better weapons on offense). The Browns also like to throw into the endzone which is another plus. Derek Anderson is a good STARTER for your fantasy team and David Garrard is a quality BACKUP for your team with alot of sleeper value. By the way, nothing says you can't draft them both.

Anderson but be careful I put him as a sleeper but he plays the toughest schedule.

garrard easily...  he doesnt throw ints.  anderson was 2nd in the league with 19 last year also the jags upgraded their wr's  bringin in jerry porter

the 2nd half of last year once teams had film on anderson he was pretty terrible.  most of his tds came in the first 9 games and that was when they had the rediculous game against the bengals where both teams scored 50 pts.  derek anderson will be a 1 year wonder.
