Derrylough Annie set to win Williamhill.Com Stakes
The W. Miller-trained white and black b***h, Derrylough Annie, is all set to seal top spot in the Bet On Your Mobile At Williamhill.Com Stakes, a Grade A3 contest that will be held at Sunderland racecourse tonight, June 27.
When the action begins at 20:43 (GMT), Derrylough Annie will break from the red box to cover the distance of 450 metres. The prize purse contains £111.
The brilliant b***h has been winning with regular intervals since the dawn of 2012. She bagged two consecutive runner-up ranks in A7 races during January. She moved ahead to win a T2 race by the big margin of 8 lengths on March 15.
The three-year-old veteran hound excellently won three races in a row from April 18 to May 3. She grabbed a grand victory on May 29.
In two back-to-back A4 races during the first half of June, the daughter of Astronomic out of Derrylough Topps gained a runner-up rank and an epic triumph.
In her only A3 contest on June 19, the maverick b***h could not be able to perform well and finished 6th. She ran each of her last three races on 450-meter course.
Considering Derrylough Annie’s feats during the past six months, it is predicted that she will surely make a big impact in the Stakes, having up to 90 percent chances to thrive.
However, the b***h will have to face severe resistance from Bounder who finished first by the margin of 2 lengths in his last start on June 22. This was the A4 race. The White and brindle dog has never run in A3 format so far.
Overall, the son of Oflahertys Man out of Yard Long has made some glaring marks since debuting in March 30, 2012.
In tonight’s Stakes, there will be a vicious duel between Derrylough Annie and Bounder. Let us see who does what in this format that is almost new to the both.
Churchfield Popo is also likely to do well in the race. The P. Miller-trained black dog participated in two consecutive A3 events in May 2012, getting a runner-up rank along with a 5th spot.
However, the son of Crash out of Drive On Tina won two of his last three races. He can give tough time to both the above hounds.
So the event will be packed with thrill. Let us enjoy the charged action. Good luck to all the six runners.
