  1. I used GoodStart. Its like breastmilk even, You just have to read the back.

  2. my son is on good start dha and ara and he has taken good to it i would use it if i were you. it has confort proteins which my son goes to sleep so well after he has had a bottle. he poops good and everything lol i mean he takes it good

  3. If he cant digest and is intolerant to cows milk the next option is soy formula. If he cannot digest the proteins in Soy Formula (they thought my son couldnt but turns out he can) the next step is Similac Alimentum or Enfamil Nutramigin. My son likes Alimentum and not Nutramigin but he has reflux so the similac is thicker so he can keep it down better. but they both smell ridiculously awful!

if he can digest cows milk- try a Gentle version of any formula.

  4. Organic Goats Milk Formula.

  5. I had my angel on similac advance and she started having problems after the first month. my pediatrician recommended either similac senstive, nestle good start or parents choice (wal-mart brand).  unlike most of the posts here, i had heard nothing but bad things about nestle good start so i didn't even consider it.

i tried her on the parents choice that is lactose free.  my little girl has taken to it VERY WELL.  the lactose free one from parents choice is compared to both enfamil lactofree lipil and similac sensitive.  best part, its 1/2 the price. :)  enfamil & similac both cost about $27 for the 25 oz. can.  parents choice, $14.

i did my research and compared ingredients on the three cans - its the EXACT same stuff.

but check it out for yourself and ask your pediatrician.  your pediatrician is the one who knows best - they are the ones who went to school... :)  Good Luck

  6. If you live in the US, Nestle's Goodstart is pretty good.

  7. If your baby is having trouble digesting formula you should have her checked for lactose intolerance. Any formula will upset her if  it has lactose and she is allergic to it. Even breast milk would have upset her if that is the case.

Check that out first before you try any other formula as you may need to get a soy based one or even goats milk. Ask your doctor or baby health nurse for advice.

  8. Nestle Good Start and Similac are usually known to be gentler on a baby's tummy, but every baby is different.

  9. Nestle Good Start. It is specifically made to be easier to digest.

  10. Soy formulas work.

  11. GOOD STARTS WITH COMFORT PROTIENS OR ENFIMIL GENTLEASE

  12. Either Enfamil lipid lactose free or Similac gentelease.

  13. Enfamil's Gentlease is great and easy for baby to digest. If he's having problems digesting his formula, you need to take the baby to the doctor for evaluation.

  14. my son was always fussy with milk based formula. then we put him on enfamil nutramigen and he has been a happy baby ever since.
