fyi, I was sick for the lesson and I can't find how to do it in the book

a. A series circuit consisting of a light bulb, 20 Ohm resistor and 6 volt battery

b. A circuit containing 2 light bulbs in parallel, an ammeter after each light builb and a 12 volt battery.

c. A circuit with a 20 Ohm, 30 Ohm, and 50 Ohm resistor in series with a 24 volt battery. Place a voltmeter across the 30 Ohm resistor.

d. a series circuit with a light buld, switch, and 6 volt battery.

e. A parallel circuit of 2 branches, with 2 light built in series in each branch, all across a 12 volt battery

f. A 3 branch parallel circuit, each branch having a 15 Ohm resitor. The parallel resistors are in series with a 10 Ohm resisitor. An ammeter is placed after the 10 Ohm resistor. The power source is a 24 volt battery.

  1. a. maximum current might be 6/20A=0.3A

    b. are you missing some data?

    c. current through circuit is (24/(20+30+50))=0.24A, voltage is 30*.24=7.2V

    d.missing data ? Switch off, current 0

    e.each bulb has voltage of 6 volt (assuming all bulbs are the same)

    f. current is 24/(10+15/3)=24/15A=1.6A
