Describe cosmological entropy in your own words?

the universe tends toward disorder.   a broken glass does not spontaneously reassemble.  Gas does not spontaneously become crude oil.  The dead do not spontaneously come back to life.  

After the big bang, every part of the universe flees or runs away from every other part.  There may not be enough matter to bring things back together for a big crunch.  So the universe is destined to cool off and be the same low temperature every some time a trillion years from now.
