  1. Grafting, Tissue culture, Burying of leaf, Burying of Potatoes

  2. 1. Cuttings of the stem, rhizomes etc.

    2. Grafting

    3. Budding

    4. By employing tissue culture techniques like micropropagation and somatic embryogenesis.

  3. Cloning--leaf cuttings (used for succulents), stem cuttings.  Both of these are done by putting the cutting into dirt (for the former--don't water it) or into water (for plants that will tolerate more water).  Another technique is called air-layering.  You fill a small plastic bag or wrap with damped peat moss, make a small cut in the stem of a woody plant and wrap the bag around the stem at the cut with the peat moss in contact with the stem.  All three of these techniques make the plant form roots from the stem or leaf.  The fourth method is called grafting- you firmly connect the top of one plant to the roots of another.  This is used where the top plant's roots aren't hardy enough to put up with the weather they'll be grown in--very often used for roses, or to make a small shrub sit on top of a small tree trunk.

    Hope this helps.
