well I'm not sure if its just french that does this but i know that speaking multiple languages gives a child a better grasp of the native tongue that they speak,

dance improves agility, balance and flexibility, but not sure how it effects the cognitive

any child that plays a musical instrument or sings has a mental picture of timing, counts and measure or at least that how it worked for me and mine, I noticed that my sons math scores dramatically improved once he started to play the trumpet and piano and my daughter has always had an natural thing for the piano but also is mathematically the smartest person in the house
