Describe how you are able to prioritise and use your own initiative?

Any idea how to answer this as a possible interview question? For me my work just gets lobbed in a tray and i pick things out one by one !!! :). Not sure i could use that as an answer though.

as long as you use the word "pro active" a lot in the answer you should be okay.
