With higher oil prices plaguing the world, the U.S. considers drilling in Alaska. The anti-drilling people are trying to put Polar Bears on the endangered species list. This would prevent Alaska oil drilling. Polar bear population has increased since 1974, and are not endangered. Last week on ABC Radio news. It's interesting because increased oil production would bring down fuel prices. But 85% of U.S. oil reserves are off limits to drilling.
