  1. Here are a few:

    Removing invasive plants and animals from a habitat.

    Planting native plants in habitats.

    Conserving wildlife habitats, keeping them wild..not building condos and mini-malls on them.

    Banding birds to get population/health information and radio tracking mammals for the same reason.

    Providing nest boxes, nesting platforms, burrows, etc. for certain species.

    Allowing for a hunting season for overpopulated animals.

    Nest searching and monitoring

    Supplying habitat: adding rocks/bolders to a stream for fish that need/prefer it, making wildlife corridors, etc.

    Removing parasitic bird species from habitat of endangered birds.


  2. Well in a perfect world scientists would do studies and then use what they find to improve the health of the planet. Some people actually do that. But most of them use distorted statistics to whine to the National Park Service and make them close stuff.
