Describe the animal life, plant life and geology of the ecosystem in Texas?

Can someone help me with this question, I have looked on the internet to find sources but I am having no luck, the information I did find just does not sound right. Your help will be appreciated.

Texas is a large place and the are different ecosystems found throughout the state.  You may want to narrow your search to West Texas, the Gulf Coast, etc.  It'll be much easier with this approach.
