well communication is the major challenge but with the technology nowadays, this has been greatly resolved.  other issues that should be considered is the culture of the country... like how open are they in accepting and patronizing other/new products.

aside from the above, the are still a lot to mention but this was overcome by multi-national companies by carefully studying and evaluating the impact of a new market/territory to its business.
