  1. daily life for peasants in 16th century england was very harsh. for a woman, it was worse. If you were a peasant woman, you had to take care of the house, feed the animals, cook and clean all while having children. There was no bible because then they believed that only the rich should be able to read and write therefore only they had a bible. It wasnt until King James came that the peasants got their own bible. So peasants had a life of hard work, pregnancy, and not being able to read or write.
