  1. The liver is the one responsible for producing bile salts that aid for digestion of fats in the small intestine. It is lobe-shaped whereas divided to right and left lobes, and basically found beneath the lungs/diaphragm.

    It also filters blood for fats, and stores it for future use, manufactures proteins, balance sugar level in the body and detoxify alcohol and other substances.
