Describe your favorite kind of donut?

The best are the beignets from New Orleans.  So light on the inside and crusty on the outside covered in powdered sugar.  My favorite local are Krispy Kreme's, but only when the "hot" neon sign is lit,  they also melt in your mouth liquid sugary warm goodness.  Dunkin's Bavarian Cream filled with Chocolate icing that melts in your mouth...  Ummm. so yummy.   What do you like?

It is a chocolate cake donut with sugar glaze dipped in chocolate frosting. If this sounds too sweet for most, it probably is, because I adore the ultra sweet with a great cup of coffee. It should be larger than my hand, have a hole, and have a crunch on the outside, chewy soft on the inside. I may want two.

i know that this is silly and boring, but I like  plain old cinnamon sugared cake donuts.  Usually I get them from Safeway...but any will do.  They are always nice and brown, and the cinnamon sugar adds a fun crunch....i gotta go get a dozen now!

Blueberry Cake donut from Dunkin' donuts. They are a pretty good size, and very filling. They  have the perfect amount of sweetness, great taste but not too rich. They also are covered in a thin layer of glaze..yumm
