  1. Toasted green chiles, homemade mexican rice, refried beans and homemade tamales.  Those smells take me back to when I was about 7 and staying with my grandma on the weekends.


  2. Thanksgiving Day, with the turkey and stuffing and all the pies cooking.

    All memories from when I was a kid when my mom was alive to having my own children and teaching them how to cook and bake.  All the family being together.

  3. Detergent.. freshly washed clothes & sheets..

  4. THE AROMA OF FRESH SOUP /AND THE FOGGED WINDOW'S  ON A COLD DAY !

    SMELL OF HOMEMADE TORTILLAS AND THE CHORIZO COOKING AT 4A.M. FROM GRANDMA'S KITCHEN !!

    it reminds me of going to my grandmas when i was young and now that she died of cancer at 59 and i was 12 it really reminds me of her

  6. fried chicken , my father raised chickens but I got stuck feeding them and collecting the eggs , so eating fried chicken is my revenge on them.....

I love the smell of the clean clothes coming out of the dryer.  It reminds me of a beautiful spring day.  I love that smell.  I also love to smell food cooking.  It reminds me of great family meals that brought everyone together.  Sometimes it is nice to slow down and smell the beauty of things.

    Decaying leaves - a sure sign that autumn (my favorite season) is upon us, in all its earthy glory

    Chili - opening a slow-cooker full of simmering chili just excites the tastebuds
