  1. beamer is not a legitimate delivery.... it will sometimes injure the batsmen....

  2. The bowling of a beamer results in an immediate 'no-ball' signal from the umpire. Repeated bowling of beamers can result in the bowler bein barred from bowling, as it is considered very dangerous to the batsmsan

  3. nope,..i dont  think beamer is a legitimate delivery~

  4. No, beamer shouldn't be a legitimate delivery and luckily they aren't!!! The batsman expects the ball to bounce and when u bowl a ball straight at thier head, it catches them by surprise and their reaction time will be slow and they would be more likely to get hit on the head. It is very dangerous and if the bowler bowls it too often, then they should get banned from the match!!!

  5. The use of beamers is governed under Law 42.6. of Cricket.

Law 42 of the laws of the sport of cricket covers fair and unfair play. This law has developed and expanded over time as various incidents of real life unfair play have been legislated against.

If a bowler bowls a beamer, the immediate penalty is calling it as No Ball nd warning to the bowler.  Repeated or deliberate cases may result in the bowler being barred from bowling again for the remainder of the innings (or match)

  6. I think it should be a legitimate delivery.  For some time now it hasn't been as much cricket as it has been war.  We already have sledging, mental disintegration.  Physical disintegration is not far off.
