Designing an indie themed bedroom...?

i'm painting my walls this dark reddish/mahogany. with black crown molding...i'm trying to find either, a black bed, a dark wood bed, or a bright, colorful bed...but with an indie feel. (: i'm going to have dark walls and such, and then accessorize with bright colors. any ideas?

my room is painted that color!

we used black and white photos as a wallpaper border

and then instead of having a door on my closet, i took it off and put a black shower curtain

my comforter is black and i don't have a headboard or anything

my carpet is white so the room isn't too dark

but if you have dark floor put a nice area rug on the floor that matches the walls

i also painted part of one of my walls with black chalkboard paint, you could get colorful chalk and change the design whenever you want

put up colorful pictures in black picture frames and posters of your favorite indie bands/movies

designing a room is totally fun! go crazy!
