Desire/destiny.. same thing.?

Question

Do you believe this, that you cannot have a true desire that does not manifest.

Given of coarse that some things are impossible. Like growing a new leg if you have lost one.

What else are we here for if not to make our dreams come true?

You can only grow back a leg if you lost one if you are a Huntsman Spider. lol.

Desire is what leads us to what we want out of life.  Then the destiny part either works or doesn't work.  I think when it finally works for us, tells if it's the right thing.

Desire changes as we grow to.  It helps us learn what we want out of life which becomes our devine plan for being here.

No they are not the same.  Desire is the instance of want and destiny is the effect of that want.  If one Desires to fish buy a pole first and cast a bait, it is not a guarantee there will be fish biting that is aspiration.   But because of his extreme desire to fish bought a boat and a case of TNT eventually he is going to catch something or die trying  that is destiny.  The result of that destiny is casual effect which could be his death and death of all marine life.

The absence of a leg doesn't mean you don't have a leg, you just have it some place else.  In fact there is a phenomenon called phantom leg where in the person still feel the sensation of the missing leg.  It is because the mind have the memory of owning the legs and felt attached to it.  If the mind don't have the consciousness then he would not know how to be conscious or conscious about anything.

Desire and Destiny, are dangerous rhapsodies.

One can be the stimulous for the other, yet that other may be the destruction of one.

In that, Desire may be towards something that is, completely opposite you're destiny.

Paradoxically, Your Destiny may see the obliteration of you're Desire.

I agree that any true desires or wants WILL manifest. Of course they should manifest successfully (thoroughly). But yeah when you have a true desire, just feeling it in your heart is a low level manifestation. Peace :) p.s. i like you, you seem cool

We are here to worship,have a relationship with and glorify God. Desire is not the same as destiny. Desire comes to nothing if you dont do anything toward the fullfillment of your desire. Destiny on the other hand comes with endowed ability i.e. talent,intelligence, the right guiding parents,foresight,agility etc  and these are provided by God.
