Question:

Desite latest system configuration(EXCEPT MY OLD HARDDISK) some games are not speeding up whats wrong?

1GB Ram,nvidia geforce7050(256 MB) ,dual core processor still the gameplay gets cheezy for prince of persia 2 thrones even in the medium settings.What could be wrong?

  1. Did you reformat the old hard disc and reinstall everything on that? The problem could be with the disc and a faster processor won't help that.


  2. hm good question. with the following specs it would seem like your system should do fine.

    System requirements:

    Pentium 4 1.5 GHz

    512 MB RAM

    graphic card 64MB (GeForce 4 or better)

    1.5 GB HDD

    Windows 2000/XP.

    I have the 7950 which does great on most any game. Crysis is its downfall. I can only tweak a med high out of it. I haven't overclocked my system or card yet.

    your card only has ddr2 memory instaed of ddr3 which may speed things up.  i have 2 gigs ram.

    You may want to download ccleaner to clean out your system a bit. also sweepi to clean it out and use the boot manager that is included to delete programs that you do not want to run at startup. It will only remove it from the start up not from your system. Make sure that you close all unnecessary programs running in the background.
