Desk Fan vs. Ceiling Fan - which one costs more electricity?

With price of almost everything soars up nowadays, I guess I have become more careful with money and try to save as much as possible.

Between using a desk / floor fan and ceiling fan, which one costs more electricity? (just a good rule of thumb)

The one that requires more Watts is the one that will be more expensive!

Check the wattage before you buy.
