I have a desktop with Intel M/B type D845 WN and an AOpen power supply type ATX-250GT (P4). Problem is no start when front panel on/off switch operated. Fan in power supply not operating.I have checked mains supply at 240V -OK, operation of on/off switch at M/B connector -OK, temporary short on M/B on/off pins - no start. Removed all connection from power supply to M/B and etc., temporary link from pins 14 to 15 on 20 pin socket. Very brief mains on - fan starts and all power supply voltages present (measured with DVM and close to nominal value)Reconnected only the 20 pin connector to M/B - fan starts without operation of on/off switch 5V and 12V measured at drive socket at nominal. If 4 pin (12) socket now also connected to M/B no fan - no voltages.Have also tried operation with video card removed - no go!These tests I have got from various web sites but now I am out of ideas and would appreciate help. Thanks
