My partner & I have had a tough year work wise and financially. We haven't had a holiday for 5 years because he's freelance and hasn't dared take time off; however the company he's presently working for have extended his contract for 6 months which means they are giving him 2 weeks off in August.
We really feel we deserve a holiday but we are so restricted by cost and also when we go.
After initially being really excited at the prospect of getting away, I am beginning to feel really downhearted after days of searching on the web and finding nothing within our budget so I hope some of you can help!?
We just want a bit of sun, sea and sand and will consider any destination, although I think we can only afford Europe.
We can't really afford more than £200-£250 per person & we can only travel on Sat 9th August for a max of 7 days (because I'm a lecturer I have to be back in work on 18th August!)
Can anyone please suggest a site or brochure where we can find something.
We so need a break!
