Good one Sir Alan....I backed Marchand D'or at Newmarket when he won the July Cup by a head from US Ranger.  Both he and US Ranger are  on equal terms again on Sunday and both go on the soft which is predicted at Deauville.  It's going to be a close call  Marchand D'or on home ground should win this...hope he's a good price....j x
