Hi ,

I have 4+ yrs of experience in recruitment & staffing in IT /Telecom /FMCG industries & frankly im tired of working in this HR function .I would love to explore the other facets fo HR but do not have the go ahead to shift within my exisiting company due to lack of experience . I fear i will be stuck in this area & wonder if i can achieve anything since the only step that seems gettable is that of a staffing manager -- > staffing director .....& then what ??? Im basically an engineering graduate & then i did a 6 month diploma in a small time institute in HR .Do i need an MBA ? How do i shift into another area in HR ? Which ones are the most rewarding areas ? I abhor the general admin jobs because i feel its not rewarding & thankless by the eod... Training seems interesting & so does HR analytics... Kindly advise .........Im so desperate !!!

  1. Look into Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Aka "I/O Psych."

Many from that field step into excellent HR positions.
