Temporarily need a one bedroom apartment near the Art Institute of Indianapolis until I can find a roommate at school to move into a 2 bedroom apartment. Apartment needs to be a reasonable price and in good condition. Access to cable and internet is a plus!

  1. I live at the Villages of Bent Tree just south of 86th and Michigan and we like it.  But you want the "Lakes" section not the "Woods".  They do have 2 bedrooms for under $700.  The Lakes is all electric and is slightly more expensive, but they are newer apartments, the parking is much better, less kids and less crime.  They also have an internet cafe.

I can tell you to stay away from Villa Nova, and Presidential Estates.  I have family who lived at both, and I felt terribly unsafe when I visited.  Drug dealers who had no problems dealing in broad day light.

I have heard Fountainhead is pretty decent as well.

    Good Luck

  2. There are a lot of good apartments in that area, particularly in the area between Ditch Road and Harcourt Road, between 86th St. and 79th St (near St. Vincent).  If you're in Indianapolis now, just go and get one of the apartment guides that are free at the supermarket.

  3. got to zombo.com for the apartments

  4. Nikk27, I moved from Indiana to South Dakota last year, so I'm not sure who I could contact to assist you. Here is a list of apartments in Indiana that you can call. http://www.findanapartmentonline.com/Ind... Hopefully someone can help you.
