  5. True, the camels hump is actually made up of... well, I don't know exactly.  Maybe cartillidge, water?  But I'm pretty sure the spine is actually straight.

  6. Relatively true. There is a slight curve to it but the spine does not follow the outline of the hump. If it did, it would have to distort when the hump sagged as the fat was used up. And bactrian (2-humped) camels would just look weird.
