The Siena President has stressed that while an agreement is in place with the Giallorossi, the club will have to start all over again if the young striker chooses to play for the Old Lady.
Massimo Mezzaroma has advised Mattia Destro to not give money too much importance in choosing his next destination, and believes that playing under Zdenek Zeman will be the best option for a youth player like the striker.
The 20-year-old attacker is co-owned by Genoa and Siena, and is currently negotiating personal terms with the Giallorossi to make a permanent move to the capital outfit that has been approved by the two owners.
Mezzaroma revealed that the Robur has an agreement with the Rossoblu, and stated that all that remains is for Destro to agree to personal terms with AS Roma.
The Robur chief admitted that the young striker has a lot of leverage in his hands due to the overwhelming interest in him, but insisted that it will be a mistake by the player to give too much importance to money.
While talking to the press, the Siena patron said:
“There is an agreement between us and Genoa, but it is now up to the player to decide. He’s wanted by some important clubs and I’ve told him to not just look at the money.”
AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 have agreed to a deal with the co-owners of the striker, but there is a fix between the youngster and the capital outfit regarding the annual wages.
Moreover, Juventus have also joined the contention for the player offering a more lucrative contract.
Mezzaroma admitted that the Italian Champions have the ability to offer UEFA Champions League to the budding star, but stressed that the masterful touch of Zeman can do wonders for honing the talent of the young attacker.
“Juventus have the Champions League to play for, but I think it is the dream of every Italian striker to have Roma boss Zdenek Zeman as your Coach. There are a host of unknown players who have become famous after the Zeman cure.”
The Siena chief stressed that if Destro chooses to sign with Juventus, the club will have to start negotiations all over again.
