Destroying the Earth (global warming)?

Think of assisted suicide, now think of the contribution to everyone on the earth. I could be killing my neighbor while your killing me. Your smoking, I'm driving a car. We are all contibuting to a Mass Suicide, Extinction of all Humans on Earth!!

Do you know that the US and most of the world is an oil based economy?

Think of everything around you = plastics, computers, even your foods use petroleum fertilizers.

If we run out of oil - how will you get foods from the grocery store - they can not ship it to the stores.

So when the economy collapses - are you going to grow your own food?

Will you survive Food Riots and Anarchy?

Will you still side with Environmentalists Against drilling for more oil?

As far as us and climate, we have no significant effect at all. Actually, the planet would probably do better in a warmer climate with higher CO2 levels.

No, the planet will still be here.  

Unfortunately species on the planet are adapted to today's temperatures, as is human food production, so the effects will be overwhelmingly negative.  We know this from records of past warmings, which often were accompanied by extinction of more than 50% of the life on this planet.

We don't know if we can prevent that scenario, since there are no discussions that will bring China, India, Russia and Brazil into carbon reduction talks:

Without that cooperation, population growth will more than overpower carbon reduction efforts in developed nations, so the best we can do is prepare to adapt, then hang on for the ride.

I find that we who live on earth are a great part of out planet and when earth has out of normal problems, we too have out of normal problems. like our attitudes and animals too. we get in our own ways get mad at whatever and like animals, like household cats, instead of having mice as enemies their sleeping together and cougars come walking on the sidewalks as if it their was'nt anything around on a crowded neighborhood. suisides, rages, etc. are all part of earth. http://www.socyberty.com/Activism/First-... seems to be the only way of deleting Global Warming. as is I havent seen or heard anything else and our government in hiding and only talking about what does'nt have anything to do with it. in fact what they have claimed is a lie. all gases, exhaust, co2, carbons etc. does'nt have anything to do with it. a much higher intellegence has weakened the forcefield to allow excessive heat to add billions of tons of water to flood our planet and starve the whales and no-one is doing anything about it. maybe your all like me. not rich. have a nice day.
