Details Magazine says you can't, but what do you believe?

According to the latest edition of Details magazine, Men over 40 should not dress in A&F clothing.

But what do you believe? What if the 40-something guy looks young (at least for his age), has a nice body (lean with some muscular tone), and is.....well...."cute". Do you think a man like this can get away with dressing in collegiate style type of fashion?

  1. do you wanna look like a guy who's going through a midlife crisis and trying to recapture his youth, or do you want to look like someone who is mature and confident?

I don't think anyone should be wearing A+F no matter what age.  so i would agree with details on this one.  and even if you look good for age, wearing young stuff just looks like you are trying to hard. dress your age...its much more sophisticated and s**y.

  2. Yes, because in all honesty, its what that person likes, i, myself, don't chose clothing because of what some magazine tells me is hip or in style, i buy what i think looks good, and looks good on me. I mean think about im SURE that A&F has some higher-up corporate types over 40 that wears that clothing brand, I mean i have friends who wear it who are over fourty, h**l if i buy it for my dad and its comforable he wears it and hes over 50... so no, age shouldnt stop you from wearing clothing that you like, and looks good on you.

  3. With all due respect, I'd avoid it. Here's why. There are 2 types of people in this world: leaders and followers. Try leading the pack and setting your OWN style rather than being a follower.  You'll be surprised at what happens.
