Detroit Lions: Best Team In The NFL?

Detroit Lions went 4-0 in the Pre-Seasons. The only team to do so. Everyone else, all 31 other team, lost at least one game.

What do you think of this?

As much as I wished they were the best team, they aren't. However, they are greatly improved and could be the surprise team this year.

The pre-season mean nothing when it comes to how well a team will do in the regular season.  The pre-season is meant to get the players back into playing shape and for the coaches to evaluate their teams in order to get the best possible players on the field for the regular season.  Just because a team loses a game or two, or all four games, it doesn't mean that they will tank in the regular season.

Preseason?? Teams don't game plan for these games. They don't run their normal offense and defense. Starters make cameo appearances.

Every team is 0-0 right now. The preseason means nothing. The best part about it: it's over.

The 1989 Cowboys were 3-1 in the preseason, then went 1-15.

The 1993 Cowboys were 1-3 in the preseason, and won the Super Bowl.

Does that sum it up?
